We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a CAMO engineer for our client based in Malta

Requirements

  • Must have the right to live and work in the EU

  • Good CAMO experience, ideally 5 years experience 

  • Fluent in English 

Job Description

  • Assist the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) in the daily continuing airworthiness tasks.

  • Review the maintenance records, as generated during the operation and maintenance of the aircraft, for correct entries as per CAME and Part CAMO.

  • Subscribe with all the major OEMs (airframe, engine, APU, main avionic suppliers) to receive technical updates such as Service Bulletins, Service Letters, Advisory Wires, Email Alerts, publication amendments, etc.

  • Subscribe with EASA and the FAA for technical updates (ADs, EASA SIBs, FAA SAIBs, etc.)

  • Update the relevant data documents (AD review and action file, SB review and action file) with the results of the review and any action items. Update CAMP/TRAXXALL with the relevant data. Follow-up any action items as required.

  • Check CAMP/TRAXXALL daily for scheduled maintenance tasks on all the fleet. Check CAMP/TRAXXALL daily for any new tasks introduced by the CAMP/TRAXXALL administrators. Review any tasks and action as required.

  • Use CAMP/TRAXXALL to produce work orders for scheduled tasks well in advance of the due date. Liaise with the MRO before, during and after the maintenance input. Receive completed work orders and job cards from the MRO. Review these documents for correct entries. If unsatisfactory, inform the MRO (and CAM) for the appropriate action. If satisfactory, update CAMP/TRAXXALL with closed tasks, discrepancies, repairs etc. File the paperwork orders and job cards.

  • Assist the CAM when compiling and/or updating aircraft maintenance programmes.

  • Maintain the defects database in CAMP/TRAXXALL, in relation to reliability monitoring.

  • Assist the CAM when performing the AMP effectiveness analysis.

  • Carry out any other technical tasks assigned by the CAM or the Accountable Manager
