Your role

Oversee Daily Hangar Operations:Direct the planning, execution, and allocation of personnel to optimize efficiency, throughput, and resource utilization within the hangar.
Lead & Develop Teams:Supervise, mentor, and provide comprehensive training to paint specialists, inspectors, and support staff, fostering sustained high performance and adherence to exacting quality benchmarks.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance:Implement and enforce strict adherence to all pertinent health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, FAA requirements).
Supervise Painting Processes:Oversee the entire finishing sequence, including meticulous surface preparation, precise masking, accurate priming, flawless top-coating, and detailed finishing, guaranteeing impeccable application and final presentation.
Manage Inventory & Equipment:Monitor, control, and reconcile stock levels of paints, specialized tools, and personal protective equipment; coordinate procurement and conduct regular inventory checks.
Maintain Quality Control:Conduct thorough post-completion inspections to confirm alignment with both client specifications and internal quality assurance protocols.
Coordinate Facility Maintenance:Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for crucial hangar infrastructure, suchados ventilation systems and spray booths.
Collaborate with Stakeholders:Serve as a key liaison with project managers, engineering departments, and direct clients to ensure timely project delivery and harmonious alignment with overarching project goals.
Prepare Budgets & Reports:Formulate, manage, and present operational budgets, financial forecasts, and performance analytics to senior management.

Your profile

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on aircraft painting experience, ideally at a VIP/VVIP quality standard.
A relevant technical degree or an equivalent depth of professional background.
Extensive familiarity with aircraft paint systems, various application techniques, and leading industry practices.
Demonstrated capability to inspire, motivate, and guide organizational change across sizable teams (30–40 individuals).
A commercially astute perspective coupled with practical experience in budget formulation and cost management.
Proficiency in MS Office applications; prior experience with SAP is considered advantageous.
The ability to accurately interpret complex technical drawings, operational manuals, and detailed paint specifications.
Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French or German is highly desirable.
