MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the functions detailed below, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required. In addition, key objectives and targets will be set/established and agreed on appointment.

Responsible to the RTS F4 Post Holder Training Manager for the following:

  • Short, medium, and long-term planning of facilities and resources for the delivery of training and examinations.

  • Managing operational service delivery to RTS clients, meeting business and customer satisfaction KPI's and targets.

  • Maintaining and managing effective controls throughout the RTS training delivery function.

  • Managing service delivery costs within budgetary requirements. Targeting cost reductions and improving profitability wherever possible.

  • Managing and developing training delivery staff. Deploying effective people management and development strategies to inspire and motivate the individual and the team to enable them to achieve their full potential.

  • Assist the F4 Post Holder TM in maintaining the Part 147 approvals, assist the F4 Post Holder TM in the supervision, direction and management of LRTT staff.

  • Working with RTS Learning design on the development and innovation of training products and material to ensure RTS remains at the forefront of training for the industry.

  • Project management of new initiatives from inception to successful implementation.

  • Working closely with the Apprentice Centre Manager, ensuring that operating objectives, apprenticeship standards, learning plans, employer engagement, formal reviews of performance are conducted and meet the standards required by all appropriate awarding bodies and standards authorities (CAA/EASA, Ofsted, EAL etc).

  • Actively looking for innovation and continuous improvements for the internal functions of RTS defining benefits and overseeing implementation

Qualifications:

Significant managerial experience in an aviation maintenance or aviation training role.
