Multi-Media Developer

As part of a new and exciting Part-66 project at our Aviation Training Facility in Kemble, we are currently looking for a Multi-Media Developer to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

As a Multi-Media Developer, you will be responsible for multi-media development, working with different multi-media features such as test, sound, graphics, 2D/3D modelling, animations, video and eLearning to create innovative content for the Part-66 project.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the team to understand the design concept and advise on how it can be implemented on a technical level.
• Design and build high quality engaging online training content and interactive multimedia, making use of various software platforms and authoring tools.
• Write efficient computer code or script to make the various features work, ensuring that sound, graphics, animations, and timing work as intended and make good use of processing and data storage capacity.
• Write HTML or similar input and use authoring packages where appropriate to create content and effects.
• Provide technical support to an application once it is running and make further adaptations, patches or rewrites to the code.

Requirements:

• Knowledgeable in using rapid authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline & Rise.
• Basic understanding of Java, CSS, HTML or similar.
• Proven experience in instructional design and learning methodologies.
• Experience in storyboarding for a variety of digital content.
• Experience in critically reviewing content and providing constructive feedback.
